Mumblefish is participating in the September 18th “Walk to Defeat ALS” in Pepperell. We’ll be playing at the Community Church, and we’re honored to be involved in helping to find a cure for ALS.

We found some great pictures taken by Richard Axtman of Northern Music at the Connie Sullivan Fundraiser event. As you can see, it didn’t matter what party you support… we had them dancing on the tables!

“During the holiday season, we’ve decided to give something back to help out a cause that is near and dear to our own hearts,” said Mumblefish lead singer, Tom Powers. “Cancer is a serious issue, and the Relay For Life does a great job of getting the community and the students of North Middlesex Regional High School involved in the fight. We can’t think of a better organization to benefit during the season of giving, and we hope to see a lot of fans and friends at the Bash.”
Great news! The Merry Rockmas Bash will now be donating a portion of every ticket sold to help support the American Cancer Society.
Merry Rockmas Benefit Bash
A portion of every ticket sold will go to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of North Middlesex Regional High School fund. The Relay For Life is a great fundraising event in the fight against cancer, and it also gets the students and the community involved in a very big way. Having been involved with the event over the past few years, I know how much it touches the lives of survivors and family members, and really brings a sense of hope in the fight against cancer.
In addition, we’ve had some friends of the band step up and offer to sponsor the event with some prizes. These include:
- Pepperell Music Center is donating a Fender guitar signed by legendary rocker, J. Geils
- Gretchen Archambault is donating signed copies of her children’s book, “Hats, Gloves, Hot Cocoa with Love“
- Chuck Smith, webmaster for Mumblefish and owner of Life Is Local, is donating a complete website design (or redesign) and hosting for six months
- If you’re interested in sponsoring this event, please send us a message using the Contact form.
Both Mumblefish and Eastwood Peak are excited to be a part of the Merry Rockmas Benefit Bash, especially during the season of giving. Many of us have been touched by cancer in some way, and we’re grateful we can do our part to help in the fight to find a cure.
