About Mumblefish
Making their start in central MA rock clubs, MumbleFish is four guys who formed an alliance to make music, friends and have lots of fun whenever and wherever they play. MumbleFish delivers a powerful mixture of Rock, Dance and Party music that captures today’s best sounds combined with 80’s and 90’s greatest party tunes. Featuring amazing harmonies and seasoned musicianship, the MumbleFish repertoire is chock full of ultra-catchy gems, from bands like The Black Crows, Blink 182, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Weezer, Three Doors Down, Tom Petty, ZZ Top, Foo Fighters, Matchbox 20, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Goo Goo Dolls, Daughtry, and more.
Mumblefish broke onto the music scene in 2008, playing some local benefits and clubs in the Nashua, Lowell, Billerica, Fitchburg, Leominster areas and is now booking central MA and the Boston area. The band is equipped to play the largest of night club venues as well as small coffee houses. MumbleFish loves to have fun on stage and is dedicated to their audience and fan club members. “ We started this thing for s#!$t’s and giggles” says Tom Powers “but now we’re in it for the long haul and lovin’ every minute of it”.
So come check out the band and get the answer to the question that everybody’s asking. “ What is a MumbleFish”?

Band Bios
Tom Powers is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for Mumblefish. Tom has been writing, playing, performing, and recording music since junior high school, and has played in several bands. In 2000, he broke out on his own as a solo/acoustic act, playing pubs and coffee houses in and around Boston. Now, he’s back and ready to rock with Mumblefish.
Steve Foley is the bass player for Mumblefish. Steve grew up listening to jazz and classical, and started playing guitar in high school but switched to bass in college. He toured New England in the 70s as the fire-breathing bass player for the Metal band, “Seth.” In the early 80s, Steve wrote and recorded a number of original rock tracks at Sound Design Studios in Burlington, MA. His main influences are Cream, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Beck, Walter Trout, Winger, Van Halen, ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Trower, and a whole lot of other great musicians.
Danny Clark is the lead guitarist for Mumblefish. Danny has been playing in bands since he was 11 and started out as a drummer. He switched to guitar because of Cream-era Clapton and suffered through the disco era by playing hard rock and fusion and rediscovered slide guitar and the blues in the eighties. His main influences are Clapton, Hendrix, SRV, Allman, Zappa, McLaughlin and everybody else.
Richard Buck is the drummer for Mumblefish. Richard plays Yamaha and Fibes drums, along with Zildjian cymbals (exclusively), and has a variety of snare drums to suit the musical setting. Richard is versed in multiple styles of music. He has played on various recordings, most recently as the house session drummer at MDI studios in Plymouth, Mass.
